Gatividhi
Academic Activities
Gatividhis operate across all levels—from the national down to the mandal level—with the specific aim of extending their impact throughout various dimensions of the education sector. Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal has currently constituted the following Gatividhis:
1. Mahila Gatividhi
- Mahila Gatividhi is dedicated to strengthening the spirit of Bharatiyata through meaningful participation of women in educational, social, cultural, and research-oriented initiatives. It seeks to nurture women as active agents of national reconstruction by engaging them in diverse pariyojanas related to motherhood, family and social well-being and also healthy lifestyle practices. The Gatividhi also promotes research and dissemination in the field of Indian Knowledge Systems, while extending its work to inclusive initiatives such as Kinner Vikas project, thereby contributing to a more harmonious, rooted, and socially responsible Bharat.
2. Gurukul-Shiksha Gatividhi
- Works dedicatedly towards the revitalization, preservation, and proliferation of the traditional Gurukul education system in alignment with modern educational requirements.
3. Vidyalay-Shiksha Gatividhi
- Developing schools as effective institutions for delivering integral and holistic education
- Integrating the Bharatiya perspective into curriculum, methodology, innovation, and policy-making
- Conducting quality-enhancement programs for teachers, parents, management, and students
- Organizing Anandshalas and Interactive Sessions based on Bharatiya perspective
- Implementing the National Education Policy–2020
4. Uchch-Shiksha Gatividhi
- Focuses on instilling the Bharatiya perspective in higher education institutions by transforming their curriculum, pedagogy, and research methodologies.
5. Shaikshnik Gatividhi
- Designing and reviewing Bharat-centric curricula and supplementary materials rooted in Bharatiya knowledge traditions
- Orientation of teachers in alignment with new and supplementary curricula
- Forming Board of Studies (BoS) from school to higher education
- Developing new textbooks and implementation through various institutions
6. Anusandhan Gatividhi
- Encouraging Bharat-centric research, based on Bharatiya methodologies
- Re-establishing Bharatiya knowledge traditions in contemporary contexts
- Cultivating a research mindset among youth through Research Anandshalas and Research Paper Writing Competitions
7. Prakashan Gatividhi
- Publishing original literature and contemporary learning material, based on Bharatiya perspective
- Publishing books on educational and cultural areas to re-establish the ideological foundation of Bharatiyata
- Publishing comprehensive literature, including reference books for academic curricula
8. Yuva Gatividhi
- Nurturing ‘Intellectual Warriors’ inspired by a spirit of Nationhood
- Enhancing analytical abilities in research, writing, and deliberation
- Orientation Programs for youth to motivate them for active participation in nation-building through education
9. Bharatiya Gyan Sampada Gatividhi
- Operates across more than 50 distinct disciplines, focusing on preserving, researching, and integrating indigenous knowledge systems into mainstream academics.
10. Education & Technology Gatividhi
- Facilitates the seamless integration of modern technological advancements in education while maintaining the core principles of Bharatiyata.
11. Shikshak-Shiksha Gatividhi
- Aims to redefine teacher-training programs to produce educators rooted in Bharatiya ethos, values, and pedagogical expertise.
12. Bharatiya-Bhasha Gatividhi
- Actively promotes the use, development, and integration of Bharatiya languages in education, administration, and public discourse.
